An Evolutionist Science Textbook.

Nothing evolved and nothing is evolving... Caterpillars still change into butterflies, and they do that because God made them that way, not because of evolution.

  1. Checkmate atheists! Ray just sunk our battleship and evolutionary theory is falling like a house of cards. Go fish.

  2. Wow ... how did we miss that one? Time to go burn all those textbooks and put those lazy scientists to work ploughing the fields.

  3. ...which is exactly what he'd say if a "crocoduck" were ever found, so why does he keep up the pretense of extra-biblical justifiability?

    One can only wonder.

  4. His follow up post is even more hilarious. Yep, only humans can be atheists.

  5. The Very Hungry Caterpillar was perhaps my older son's favorite bedtime book when he was young.

I enjoyed it too, except the part where the caterpillar ate some junk food such as cake, a lollypop, and salami, but what the hell, treats are ok in moderation.

When the caterpillar woke up, he found that he had turned into...

    A BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY!

It doesn't get any better than that.

  6. Yaeger:

His point would be better made by saying "Religion." He could easily have twsted it to say that God has only revealed himslf to humans, not animals.

Instead, he set himself up or the "Show us animals that worship gods." Man, pretty thoughtless, Ray.

  10. Shaggy,

That's precisely what I said to him in my reply to his post. Saying "religion" would have made much more sense, from both the theists' and the atheists' point of view, but Ray making sense doesn't drive the hit counter like Ray being a wacko nutjob godbotherer does.

  11. Well, does he think this is a new argument? Just the same silly stuff as always.

  12. Maybe Ray is onto something. If an evolutionary biologist like Stephen Jay Gould used butterfly metamorphosis as an example of Darwinian evolution, I'd seriously start questioning evolutionary theory.

I'm willing to accept evolutionary theory in spite of its absurdity on scientific principle, but believing caterpillars speciate into butterflies is just crazy talk.

  13. @ Atomic Chimp,
    IRT: 'Resurrection Proof'

Former atheist leader turns to Jesus Christ, and the Resurrection!

"Dr. Greenleaf, the Royal Professor of Law at Harvard University, was one of the greatest legal minds that ever lived.

He wrote the famous legal volume entitled, A Treatise on the Law of Evidence, considered by many the greatest legal volume ever written.

Dr. Simon Greenleaf believed the Resurrection of Jesus Christ was a hoax. And he determined, once and for all, to expose the "myth" of the Resurrection.

After thoroughly examining the evidence for the resurrection — Dr. Greenleaf came to the exact opposite conclusion! He wrote a book entitled, An Examination of the Testimony of the Four Evangelists by the Rules of Evidence Administered in the Courts of Justice. In which he emphatically stated:

"it was IMPOSSIBLE that the apostles could have persisted in affirming the truths they had narrated, had not JESUS CHRIST ACTUALLY RISEN FROM THE DEAD, . . ."

(Simon Greenleaf, An Examination of the Testimony of the Four Evangelists by the Rules of Evidence Administered in the Courts of Justice, p.29).

Greenleaf concluded that according to the jurisdiction of legal evidence the resurrection of Jesus Christ was the best supported event in all of history!

And not only that, Dr. Greenleaf was so convinced by the overwhelming evidence, he committed his life to
    ... Jesus Christ!"

That my dear chimp is "Proof in the Pudding!" Have a NICE day! :)

    And I just saw this:

    Neil Smith said...

Charles Darwin said on his death bed:
"I was a young man with uninformed ideas. I threw out queries, suggestions, wondering all the time about everything. To my astonishment the ideas took like wild-fire. People made a religion of them."

Unless someone out there can explain what man evolved from and the various stages involved (backed up by some form of fissil evidence) then the whole theory is like shifting sand. Where did the first single celled life form come from, how did that develop into plants, birds, fish, animals and humans? How did each species become male and female, which came first male or female? Surely a male and female of each species would have to have evolved simultaniously in order to reproduce, how did that occur?

How did the human eye evolve?
    Darwin said:
"To suppose that the eye could have been formed by natural selection, seems I freely confess absurd in the highest degree.

Did man evolve from apes, or do we have a common ancestor, if so what was it? Where are the fossil records showing the evolution from this common ancestor?

Please can someone just give us some evidence for the theory of evolution?

Quote mining and outright lies, and ignorance. This must be one of many people who share Ray Comfort's brain.

Hi Terry, did you know that Simon Greenleaf was born in 1783? He never was a former "atheist leader"?

Don't waste your time presenting facts to Terry Burton. He still claims that Darwin smoked hash on the Beagle.

Normally, this is countered with "If American's decended from Europeans, why are there still Europeans?".

But a while ago, I pointed out that modern apes are as different from the common ancestor as human are.

A more accurate analogy, therefore, is "If Americans decended from Europeans, why are there still Australians?" - Quasar

I use this as my signature line in several forums.

  18. Unfortunately for Ray, no butterfly is genetically identical to its parents. Its own descendants will be different again. Evolution.
