All Dogs go to Heaven?

"Name one feature about humanity that can be demonstrated as unique." Mudley

Atheism.

This is Ray's latest post. Uhg. I assume from the question, that this discussion was about the unique status of humans in nature. Mudley, the atheist, is asking what it is that sets us apart from other primates, and indeed all of life. Ray Comfort responds, "atheism". Now, are we to assume that other animals are religious? What god do ants worship, I wonder? Do all dogs really go to heaven?

  1. A barking atheist is simply 'silly' but then again anyone who thinks God is not 'real' must be a lunatic! :)

    Here's a blast from the past "a"s!

    @ Atomic Chimp,
    IRT: 'Resurrection Proof'

Former atheist leader turns to Jesus Christ, and the Resurrection!

"Dr. Greenleaf, the Royal Professor of Law at Harvard University, was one of the greatest legal minds that ever lived.

He wrote the famous legal volume entitled, A Treatise on the Law of Evidence, considered by many the greatest legal volume ever written.

Dr. Simon Greenleaf believed the Resurrection of Jesus Christ was a hoax. And he determined, once and for all, to expose the "myth" of the Resurrection.

After thoroughly examining the evidence for the resurrection — Dr. Greenleaf came to the exact opposite conclusion! He wrote a book entitled, An Examination of the Testimony of the Four Evangelists by the Rules of Evidence Administered in the Courts of Justice. In which he emphatically stated:

"it was IMPOSSIBLE that the apostles could have persisted in affirming the truths they had narrated, had not JESUS CHRIST ACTUALLY RISEN FROM THE DEAD, . . ."

(Simon Greenleaf, An Examination of the Testimony of the Four Evangelists by the Rules of Evidence Administered in the Courts of Justice, p.29).

Greenleaf concluded that according to the jurisdiction of legal evidence the resurrection of Jesus Christ was the best supported event in all of history!

And not only that, Dr. Greenleaf was so convinced by the overwhelming evidence, he committed his life to
    ... Jesus Christ!"

That my dear chimp, is "Proof in the Pudding!"

    Have a NICE day! :)

  2. Yes Terry, like I said last time you posted this. Dr. Greenleaf makes the HUGE ASSUMPTION that the Gospels are eye witness accounts. There is no evidence for this and in the case of Luke, he says it was handed down through the generations.

  3. Terry,

Welcome to the Raytractors, shall we sign you up for a Crocoduck hat?

Would you care to address the topic of this particular post, or are you just going to bleat on about Greenleaf as usual?

Also, could you please retract your assertion that Darwin was "high" on "hash" unless you can provide evidence that this was the case.

    Cheers,

  4. I don't mean to be obtuse, but getting back to the subject of the Post, "All Dogs go to Heaven(?,)"

Of course not. There is no heaven accept what we create for ouselves, and trust me on this, dogs have been exploiting humans and creating a nice little niche for themselves for a long time and I actually consider them the most successful species on the face of the earth (Cat lovers have a good argument that will not be considered here.)

Start out with the male of the species. He befriends humans and lays around all day licking his dick and balls.
Do you know why he does this?

I shall perish of curiosity if you don't at least try to answer this, and the person that does answer correctly will be nominated by me, as the first recipient of the "Order the the Raytractors."

Be advied though, that my nomination might not be accepted by the management; who knows?

Hi Terry, did you know that Simon Greenleaf was born in 1783? He never was a former "atheist leader"?

  6. dale asked...

Do you know why he does this?

Because he can. So could I when I was younger. It was befriending humans that I had a hard time with.

  7. "Do all dogs really go to heaven?"

It's far more likely that Ray typed before he thought...

  8. Well craig gets the nomination by default for the correct answer plus a bonus point for the description of his youthful dexterity.
