THE TRUTH ABOUT RAISING MAJOR GIFTS IN A FAILING ECONOMY...
a Complimentary Teleseminar on Raising Good Money During Bad Times
October 23, 2008 at 12:00pm EST 11:00am CST 10:00am MST 9:00am PST

Heres what youll discover during this Teleseminar designed exclusively for Christian Radio Executives:

A) The truth about funding options during tumultuous economic times.
B) What happened to Christian Ministries during the market corrections of 1987 and 2001.
C) A plan to identify and begin to cultivate the major donors in your market.
D) Self-liquidating events that raise money.
E) How to partner with other organizations to meet persons of means.
F) The value of hosting regular non-fundraising introductory events at your station.
G) Effective brainstorming with key community leadersHow to "treasure map.

For some time now, weve been trying to convince you that Sharathon, by itself as a fundraising source is simply not enough. Additional broadcast fundraising events and alternative donor cultivation and conversion methods are necessary. Major Gifts HAS to be included. During a recession individuals of significant wealth are motivated and able to participate in ways others cannot that will provide your ministry critical budgetary relief. Unless you are involved in the process of engaging and communicating with these folks, youll miss a huge opportunity to raise significant gifts now.

  2. Mike,
A local x-tian TV station (Cornerstone TV- another family dynasty thingy) is having one of it's fairly regular fund raisers, or telethon, over the last week and it is like watching a monkey football game.

They are invoking every reason they can think of for continued support in these tight times.

One preacher was verily screaming into the camera that just because money is tight it is no reason to suspend giving money to their church.

Tis is basically a two bit church where the patriarch is about 70 years old, his son, Rod Embry and wife are of course second in command and Rod's daughter is now being cultivated to spout the party line.

Of course they collect nice salaries while imploring everyone else to work as volunteers.
