Here's a place to critique Ray Comfort without being subject to his rules of censorship. We are a community of mostly atheists and agnostics, but theists are welcome to join. Sign up by emailing MacGyver Jr. - See his profile.
We've got a complete collection at home, which my brother started and my wife continued. She listens to it more than I do though (I prefer to read).
ReplyDeleteAnyway, for all who like this style of music and don't think it will actually summon demons to their hardware, check out the following bands:
Satyricon
Immortal
Illnath
Forgot to add, and this comes with an important disclaimer, My Dying Bride.
ReplyDeleteSome of their stuff is so dark and gloomy that even a very stable person like myself can be pushed close to doing very dumb things if immersed too much.
Musically, I think they're great, but it's really not something you should listen to if you're depressive.
Even if you don't like black metal, symphonic metal, you have to appreciate the talent that goes into CDs like Damnation and a Day, both musically and lyrically. I think I read somewhere that they used around 200 instruments (or samples) on D&D.
