Ray's uncomfortable silence.

We all know how Ray likes to hear himself talk. Given that's it's rather odd how close-mouthed he's been regarding his recent interview at WDAY radio (not to mention the subsequent demolition of his ridiculous screeds by our good friend PZ Myers the next day).

I predict that Ray will maintain his stony silence regarding this issue - no doubt, he's hoping that all his minions will conveniently forget his latest public embarrassment. But don't worry, Ray. We won't forget. We have transcripts. c^_^ɔ

  3. LOL Dale!

We should put up links on the sidebar to the transcripts and mp3s from both sides.

  4. Even Jim Babbitt, the host of the shows said while takling to Myers that Ray's statements were "ridiculous".

Take away Comfort's sin & salvation show, & all you have left is a fool. But court jesters get paid a lot better these days than they did in the Middle Ages.

  5. Thanks a million NMT.

And I guess I don't need to listen to Ray's ..... I already know what he'll say anyway. *sigh*

  6. The link for Ray's part is the other thread here (don't know if it's still working), and the WDAY site should have the part archived as they said.

  7. I finally got a chance to listen to both sides of the "debate" and I've got to say I was disappointed. The radio host, I think it was Ben, did not seem to be the sharpest crayon in the box. His point that we may never have all the evidence for evolution or that it may take us hundreds of years to figure it all out seemed to imply that the evidence we have now is not sufficient to prove evolution. I wanted to shake him until his teeth rattled. Ray lived up to expectations. He wasn't made to defend any of his crazy ideas and his contention that he was taken out of context on his banana argument was ludicrous. PZ's presentation was fine, but he did not specifically demolish Ray's arguments which is what I really wanted to hear. PZ gave a very intelligent and information talk on evolution but we know that Ray's audience does not listen to rational thought. Ray does not let himself be pinned down or answer questions honestly and I was hoping to see some of that. Oh, well. Maybe next time.
