Pet Peeve/ Administrative/ And other Worthless Renderings

In case you didn't notice, I am pissed off. (Changing font)

When my cursor comes to rest on a button, it appears as a cursor instead of that satisfying finger.

I have detected a note of resignation around here just lately. Nothing fatal, but, relegating ourselves to the prospect that these creobots are gaining any traction; forget it. it's ridiculous. The internet is to these fundies as the printing press was to the Catholic Church. They are going down, incrementally, systematically, and sociolologically speaking. They represent the remnants of the bible faith adherrants. The trend is there to see.

  2. Sorry, NM, I am frustrated and I don't want to discuss it at this time. :>

  4. Yours too dale? Did it just start fairly recently?

Mine's been doing that the better part of a week now.

Click on it anyway even tho the finger doesn't appear. It should still work.

My OS has been a little buggy lately anyhow. I mostly notice what you're describing on the 'preview/publish' buttons.

I've been hanging around CARM's site recently. Maybe I picked up fleas or something.

  5. I dunno, Dale. Robert G. Ingersoll was a rock star in his day, then within a generation of his death he was completely forgotten. The chance for an American Enlightenment was completely missed.

The fundies scare me when they say those five little words:

    "We win in the end."

  6. Ray has admitted to baiting atheists just to get a reaction & traffic.

While his Rayniacs are beyond redemption I am sure there are reational people who wander in, and they'll see the difference between rational, logical rhetoric, and raving looniness.

Ironically I think Atheist central might be doing more good to the atheist cause than the christian.

On the baiting front, my new little friend has made his first post over there, and we'll see his transformation from fan-boy to disgruntled, if he doesn't get rumbled.

Chins-up folks, work to be done.

Same here. I work from two completely unrelated computers so I don't think it's the OS. Probably Blogger software. Yeah it works ok but I still like that finger pointer thingy! :>

    -------------

I agree with that last sentence. Back in the day people were more apt to go by their emotions or what sounded good to them. Now they can easily look up stuff and make more informed decisions.

    Wee,
Although we might not see the results of Ingersoll, I think we are farther ahead than we would have been without him.

  10. I somewhat agree. I've grown weary of seeing them type or paste the same lines for the thousandth time after they've been rebutted, falsified, out-logicked, contextualized and dismissed for missing the point an equal number of times.
It's not entertaining anymore when it becomes so redundant. Any decent computer game from two or three years ago is better to spend time with. I keep trying to think of the lurkers who need to see valid criticism, but the mindboggling inanity and stupidity at Ray's is tedious.

Unlike Ray we don't censor our comments, so as long as it's on topic and not spam, fire away.
