What happened to the post about Ray's bullshit lying comment about the debate on WDAY? It was there, I tried to reply to it, now it's gone.

    The change in format was the radio station's idea, and you know it. I can't post the link due to your inane posting restrictions, but you know the truth as well as I.

    I expected you to try to ignore us asking about the interviews...I didn't expect you to lie through your teeth. Serves me right for actually expecting better of you.

    You actually disgust me, Ray.

    I took the full quote the producer posted on Pharyngula and quoted it in my reply. Ray's behavior the past couple of days has proved that he is more of a fraud than I originally gave him credit for.

    I emailed the hosts at WDAY and included Ray's comments, asking them to clear it up. I'm eagerly awaiting their reply. I'll post it at Ray's blog. If he allows it to go through. He's a lying for Jesus scumbag. People like Ray aren't the reason I'm not a Christian, but if I was, I'd be so ashamed.

    Well...I guess I just thought he would say something like 'I win' and let that be it. I knew he would proclaim victory no matter what, but to say that PZ backed out of the debate....I really didn't think he would go that fucking far into a lie that can so easily be checked out.

    Actually, most of Ray's lies can be checked out, especially the ones concerning evolution and such, but he just keeps going and going and going and going. Lying for Jesus (and lying in order to keep your worldview from crushing your head) is okay. Hell, it's noble.

    Too true, Rufus...it seems as if Ray is a student of Joseph Goebbels. I refer, of course, to this quote:

    This suits Ray and his shenanigans to a T. He's a FUCKING LIAR, and he deserves only our contempt and ridicule.

    I added this comment on his blog, not that I expect it to be approved:

    "You are obviously using this cheap tactic to dodge PZ's devasting disposal of your "arguments" and now you have to resort to LYING.

    We are both Christians Ray and this behaviour is completely unacceptable, detestable, disgusting, childish and the complete antithesis of how Christ would behave and you should issue a public apology right now."

    I just posted a comment about this in Pharyngula, under the "Friday Cephalopod: You are being watched" thread. Hopefully, the guest bloggers that are minding the store in PZ's absence will see the post and jump on this story.

    It's intriguing how Ray was completely silent for so long, though...it's almost as if he didn't decide to try to float that brazen lie until after he received word that PZ was on vacation and was no longer in a position to defend himself. But Ray's a Man of God ™...surely, he wouldn't stoop to such depths as that, would he?
