    PS - has anyone actually seen a good vampire movie recently?

    I Am Legend - kind of sucked
    30 Day of Night - didn't suck, but then sucked
    Day Watch - weird and Russian but still sucked
    The second two Blades - sucked. Just plain sucked.

    FrodoSaves - I love a good vampire movie/story. My 17 yo daughter is mad about Twilight (but yuck, sanitised goody two shoes [mormon] vampires?!).

    I'm currently reading Necroscope by Brian Lumley, which is the first in a series of vampire books. An interesting take on them.

    You'll have to let me know how it goes! I've read a few vampire books over the past couple of years, and aside from Dracula - which is unassailable - I have a place in my heart for The Vampyre by Tom Holland and Stephen King's 'Salem's Lot.
