Here's a place to critique Ray Comfort without being subject to his rules of censorship. We are a community of mostly atheists and agnostics, but theists are welcome to join. Sign up by emailing MacGyver Jr. - See his profile.
You have peer reviewed in quotation marks as if you believe that their peer review system is not legitimate...how can that be?? Like anyone at AIG would lie or bend the truth or omit facts...we all know only evil atheist evolutionists do that!
ReplyDeleteRevenant:
ReplyDeleteThose are quotation marks of respect. See for yourself.

If it sounds all sciencey, then it is science.
Thanks, I knew I was forgetting one
ReplyDeleteRufus,
ReplyDeleteThey established their online peer reviewed journal about six months ago.
I blogged about it quite a bit on my old blog.
The reviewers and the contributors to the journal must sign an oath that they will not publish anything that contradicts Ken Ham's interpretation of the literal bible.
They don't seem to realize that by signing the oath, the science they do, which is non existent anywqay, is totally and unequivacably invalidated.
Mostly what they do is loosely associate some research that has been done by real scientists with some bible verse and make a rediculous case from there.
Ken Ham and his "scientists," and the ICR have never actually done any real research.
If they have and care to prove it, I am all ears.
They are imposters and liars and phoneys of the highest degree.
I'm a huge fan of the section on dinosaurs on Answers in Genesis. I had no idea that tyrannosaurs with huge sharp pointy teeth were actually herbivores until... until, um... well they weren't clear on when exactly they became carnivores, or when and how they died out, but, er, it totally made sense...
ReplyDeleteHigh-larious.
OO quotation marks or respect, my apologies!
ReplyDeleteSarcasm aside does the term
"creation microbiologists" seem like an oxymoron to anyone else? Maybe just a moron...
AIG and other young earth creationists state-
ReplyDeleteNo apparent, perceived, or claimed interpretation of evidence in any field can be valid if it contradicts the Scriptural record.
and
The 66 books of the Bible are the written Word of God. The Bible is divinely inspired and inerrant throughout. Its assertions are factually true. It is the supreme authority in everything it teaches.
Science is the human activity of seeking natural explanations for what we observe in the world around us. Science does so through the use of observations, experimentation, and logical argument while maintaining strict empircal standards and healthy skepticism. Scientific explanations are built on observations, hypotheses and theories.
If you start with a supernatural premise and are locked into the false concept of biblical inerrancy, whatever it is you're doing -
It's not science.
