    You can't help noticing the signs in my neighborhood. They are ugly. They're tied up with tape that hangs loose and flaps in the wind. There's old soggy cardboard yard sale signs littering the street.

    That particular sign survived for 6 months at least. Someone even vandalized it. It said, "JUSUS SHAVES" for the last month of its existance. Heck, the signs qualify as vandalism, IMO.

    Oh, I understand. I just mean, the signs may have done what they were intended to do - draw your attention.

    I'm not saying that can't be (or aren't) an eyesore. Of course, I think most billboards are eyesores too. Just MHO
