Intro
The voice peeled out across cyberspace. It was harshened by a New Zealand twang, but also had the optimistic lilt of an unmolested choir-boy.
I heard the words flow from the screen. He must be a Poe, I thought, but the look on his face didn't seem to say so. It was hard to tell though - that same naive face was obscured by the kind of moustache that had filtered many a cup of holy sacrament.
That mo' spoke with wisdom, like an old-timer at a bar who comments on the game and how he could have played football, if only he hadn't been illegally tripped over in the 14Ds by Charlie McPhee.
He was the only man I heard of who openly admitted to thinking a banana proved an entire religion. His books came forth like a colony of Streptococcae, numerous, mildly offensive and almost exact replicas.
He was Ray and he was not ashamed.

Ray and the Onset of Dimensio
He's starting to get to him...
From 'The Anvil of Eternal Justice' post (sounds like something the Green Lantern would wield)
The rest is pure cart before horse stuff and his prediction is a desperate attempt to head Dimensio off at the pass because he knows full-well that he has no evidence to back up anything that he says. And I just love how he says; 'That's basic science.' as if he's given some indication that he's capable of understanding, well, anything!
Classic Comfort.
Cheers,

A Heartfelt question on biological development...
...or a big, fat set-up.
What the deuce is going on now?
As you may have seen, Ray ' Not-a-science-degree-guy' Comfort posted a series of infantile questions about which came first; blood or the heart. He has asked this before and, quite unsurprisingly, didn't pay attention to the answers or research it for himself. Now he's at it again.
He received, for his troubles, a series of answers ranging from the best, modern scientific understandings of circulatory development:
... along with the predictably dumb responses from his ardent followers...
The questions then, are; What purpose does this serve? What is his next move? Why should we care? Who will be the first to say 'Great Post Ray!'? Call it if you can...
Points will be awarded for accuracy and graded on the Prophecy Scale:
0 - 3 points - Biblical
4 - 7 points - Pat Robertson
8 - 10 points - Nostradamus
11 - 13 points - Mystic Meg
14 - 16 points - Dani'El
17 + points - if you're that good, you shouldn't have ruined it for everyone else.
Have fun!
Matt
EDIT TO ADD:
Ray has now included the correct answer to his many questions on developmental biology and the synergistic nature of the circulatory system in living organisms:
"The only answer to these questions is that Almighty God supernaturally made the human body (and every other creature) with a heart, lungs (needed for oxygenated blood), kidneys (to get rid of bad blood) vessels, arteries, blood, skin (to hold it all in), etc., all at once. Unthinkable for an atheist, but true. "

-
" Steven J. said... As I understand it, blood came first, then blood vessels, then the heart..."
-
" Irukandji said... Ray, I hate to break it to you, but someone has to: this isn't a head-scratching, hair-tearing, brain-breaking conundrum capable of moving grown evolutionary biologists to tears; it's freshman level biology..."
-
" Froggie said... Ray,
That is a very common tactic of fundies all over the web.
Ask a series of questions that would take two years of formal study to answer. And you expect to answer it in a blog comment.
Get real, Ray."
... along with the predictably dumb responses from his ardent followers...
- "
Wayne Dawg said... Ray - Great questions......but the evolutionist have never explained whether the chicken or the egg came first, so why would you confuse them with hearts and blood?"

Ray lies again. Quelle suprise.
Ray's latest gem is a self-adulatory piece of dreck entitled "Further to “A Challenge for the Atheist”". In it he gloats:
Really? Silence?
A quick perusal of the referenced thread, "A Challenge for the Atheist", reveals 33 comments, about half of them from atheists giving various responses to his "challenge". Apparently, 50% of all the responses doesn't qualify as "forthcoming" to Ray.
Also, it's important to note that this "challenge" was previously issued in the "Oh, I Get It" thread, and and received at least four responses there, including one from Yours Truly. Funny how Ray couldn't manage to reply to any of our responses at that time.
In short, Ray's claim that atheist responses to his "challenge" "weren't very forthcoming" is yet another blatant LIE. Ray has absolutely no compunction about breaking his 9th Commandment. To quote Joseph N. Welch, "Have you no sense of decency sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?"
(UPDATE: Ray has responded to the exposure of his latest lie...by deleting the entire "Further to “A Challenge for the Atheist”" thread from his blog. So much for decency.
So I then put out a challenge: “Okay. What is the purpose for human existence? I don’t mean, what do we do while we are here--find happiness, party, help people, etc. I mean, Why are we here--what’s our purpose?”
The comments weren’t very forthcoming from the usual outspoken folks, and their silence spoke volumes.

Dirt Alert! The Roof May Fall In!
Delmania said... On the Bible Censorship Post:
"Seriously Ray, if you want to have a debate in which people don't assume you're just an asshole who thinks he's smart, you'd better study up on how to make logical arguments, as well as research ideas like atheism and evolution. "

I do so get a chuckle when someone slips a "bad" word through Ray's filtration devices. hehehe.
I know, it's sophomoric and silly but just the same........hehe

Someone said...'God is real. He's not going away just because you don't like the thought of God. Suppress the truth all you want, but it doesn't change reality.'
And Dimensio - in classic fashion - replied;
"Please substantiate your assertion with evidence."
Then Ray loses it and gives Dimensio what for;
"Dimensio...your continual "Please substantiate your assertion with evidence" when it comes to the existence of God, confirms the truth of Psalm 14:1. It is scientifically impossible to have a creation without a Creator. Nothing cannot create something. That's basic science. There has to be an eternal, immaterial first cause. Let me now make a prediction. As surely as tomorrow's sunrise, your come-back will be "Please substantiate your assertion with evidence." Prove me wrong."
