  1. Wow...

As much as I want to rag on the woman, I have to ask: what happened before the video started rolling? She appears to be a fruitcake, but I'll bet there was some interesting conversation that led up to The Event

  2. WEM,

I have no idea, but I love how she wants the one guy to leave her alone but she goes over and starts screaming in his face.

  3. Telling phrases are "you people from mexico", "you people"

It also kills me when her magic spell "in the name of Jesus" has no effect.

  4. BTW, the Vera comment totally made that video...

  5. My father once got it into his head that my mother was possessed and commanded the evil spirit to leave her in the name of Jesus

She told him to stop being so silly.

  6. Stew,

Telling phrases are "you people from mexico", "you people"

It's that xian love pouring out of her. Can you feel it?

    WEM,

It could also be Rebbecca from Texas !

  7. Really Stew??? Woah! Is that a story you'd mind sharing? I mean the whole backs story. Sounds interesting !

  10. Alcari,

    I thought of that too!

    LAOF,

????? I have no idea what you are talking about.

  11. Nonmagic'el, if your Mom starts getting all angsty on you, you might want to direct her attention to this blog:

    Condensed history of Jesus

That ought to confuse her into silence :)

PS. a friend and I were just dicussing the really weird mix of language. Internet slang & memes mixed with abbreviations, bastardized english and other stuff. Enough to send a linguist into epilectic seizures...

  12. WEM,

OMGZ!!111oneone1!! No moar presentz 4 U cuz U no liek Da Jebus!!

Even though I don't like internet slang much, I like LOLcats. I'm not going to lie. I am not ashamed. (Although Rufus thinks I should be.)

But this...this hurt my head. I might slip it into her Bible next time I'm home as a joke, though! ;)

Side note: There is no internet slang that annoys me more than PWND. It just seems to me that it makes the people who use it look like 12 year olds that can't put down the video game game long enough to spell correctly.

  13. Having recently started playing my first MMOG at the age of 40, I used to dislike internet slang & possibly leet speak.

After a while, I found it casually slipping into my daily usage, which was disturbing. Smileys, acronyms, the "typing mistakes as words" stuff (pwned, zomg, etc).

I've adopted it, but only when I don't care if it makes me look 12

    :)

  17. LOAF,

I was on vacation when that post was made, I had no idea it was there. Thanks.

Actually, now that I've read the part about stimulating oneself to a presidential candidate, I'm kinda glad I missed that one. :\

  18. Mudley,

I love how Marguerite Perrin tried to go on the road and do the talk show circuit after that and tell people that she really wasn't that crazy. Yeah sure!

  19. I'll let my kid comment this one:

"Naughty girl, naughty Jesus, where's that Mexico?"

She made me play it six times.

  20. I'm what some might consider a "fundamentalist Christian" in that I am Anglican and believe in orthodox Christianity, and I would just like to say that we don't claim her either...

  21. Hi #Debi - thanks for stopping by.

At this point, it's probably fair to say that no group should adopt her, except perhaps one involving psychological disorders.

I'm not an atheist, and I don't particularly find her representative of anything or anyone. She's just a slightly loopy woman.

Ok, um, maybe I'll change that to definitely loopy...
